Within Newport

The Viking's Greenstone Inn and oceanfront vacation rentals are located in Historic Nye Beach on the Oregon Coast.

1. From Highway 101 in Newport, go west (toward the ocean) on Olive St. to Coast Street. (Olive is a continuation of Hwy 20.)
2. Turn north (right) on Coast Street.
3. At the end of Coast Street, look for the Viking ship at 729 NW Coast.

Within Oregon

Heading South On Highway 101

1. Upon entering Newport proceed SOUTH to the 5th traffic light located at 6th St. and 101.
2. Turn right (west) onto 6th St.
3. Proceed to the only stop sign at the bottom of the hill (about 6 blocks). This is NW Coast St.
4. Turn right onto NW Coast St. and go past the condominiums to the cottages where the office is located. Look for the Viking ship at 729 NW Coast.

Heading North on Highway 101

1. Upon entering Newport proceed NORTH across the Bay Bridge and then onto the 3rd traffic light after the bridge which is located at 6th St. (and 101).
2. Turn left (west) onto 6th St. and proceed to the one and only stop sign at the bottom of the hill (approximately 5-6 blocks) which is NW Coast St.
3. Turn right onto NW Coast St. and go past the condominiums to the cottages where the office is located at street side. Look for the Viking ship at 729 NW Coast.

Heading West from Interstate 5

1. Take Exit 228 from I5 and proceed WEST on route 34.
2. Continue WEST on route 34 through Corvallis. Route 34 merges with route 20 here.
3. Continue on route 20 through Philomath. After Philomath, stay on route 20, following the signs for NEWPORT (Route 34 parts from 20 and goes toward Waldport. Bear right to stay on 20). Route 20 goes directly to Newport from here (about 50 miles).
4. In Newport, proceed to the 2nd traffic light which is at the intersection of Highway 101 (also known as Coast Highway).
5. Continue west through the intersection. (Olive is a continuation of Hwy 20.)
6. Go west on Olive St. to the second stop sign which is Coast Street. Turn north (right) on Coast Street.
7. Go almost to the end of Coast Street, past the Pacific Crest condominiums and the Greenstone Inn. Look for the Viking ship at 729 NW Coast.
